Theres plenty of options to forward UK numbers to a Spanish phone. Have a Google search. Your customers dial the UK number and pay at local rates. The call is forwarded to a Spanish number and you pay the redirect charges. (Claim as a business expense)

The business part is reasonably straight forward. Consult an accountant/Gestoria for the best option. Ask the Gestoria if they are a member of the Collegio de Gestorias. They are qualified for EU tax advice. 

You can retain the UK ltd and become a Spanish subsidiary/office with you as an employee. IE: you pay employee social security in Spain, draw a wage and pay in to the Spanish tax system. The UK company pays the office expenses, issues invoices etc.

Alternatively become Autonomo. Self employed in Spain and invoice the UK company as a contractor. 

Both options require a Spanish EU VAT/IVA number. Theres no collection/transfer of VAT for business to business trading across the EU. Even after Brexit there’s no VAT collection/transfer trading with a none EU country.

I have a 3 sim phone. For Spain I use payas u go vodafone yu. 10 euros per month (never more). Lots of options out there...certainly if you sign up for wifi. Fixed lines, movil incl. I live the simple life. Hope this helps. V.

I have two companies; one which invoices the clients and would stay UK registered. I then use my other company to charge the first company a consultancy fee. There is nothing underhand (before you jump in RayD) in this, as there are two Directors and we do differing amounts of work, so we basically get paid for what we do. Therefore, i was considering just paying Directors Dividend from the second company and then paying tax into the Spainish system on that? Plus all the legalities (VAT, etc) for company No. 2 could be Spanish.

I like the idea of charging as a business expense, but not sure feasible?

I really need to get moving in sorting a Spanish accountant!

I've been here 10months I got pay as you go Tesco mobile bought in uk had no problems and as to ring tones in this society nobody would take much notice of ring tone Spanish or whatever far as anybody concerned might be your choice of ringtone  there again after Brexit roaming charges might affect but depends who you are with
