I reside in Lomas de Cabo Roig and my car is due it’s ITV later this month. Am I allowed to cross into Murcia region to visit the ITV station at San Javier or is that included in the restrictions? Thanks
Hello
Murcia was one of the 1st regions to close their boundaries so only people who work , live permanently, need to provide help/ care for someone or seek emergency health care can go in/out of Murcia. If San Javier is within the Murcia region then I would say the answer is no.
Cheers
Elinspain

I remember an article a while back about ITV. If you live in the Valencia region, your car must be ITV tested in the Valencia region to be legal. I'm sure someone will correct me if this is incorrect.

This used to be the case, but it changed a few years ago.

As elinspain says, you can't take it to San Javier, you can always use the one at Pilar de la Horadada, I've found them helpful and friendly when I couldn't use San Javier due to the lockdown earlier this year.

Cheers, that will probably be my best option.

Just to give the heads up the supreme court overturned the ITV extension that was put In place during the lockdown, so if anyone has an overdue ITV I urge you to get your vehicle booked in asap or risk a fine.

Having looked online at some Spanish news articles, is it not the case that it is the renewal`date- which is fixed as the original date as if in the absence of prorogation - was in dispute and not the prorogation itself ? If anybody can clarify ?
