Can anyone give me an idea of the cost of car insurance we are considering buying a car to use when at our apartment instead of hiring one, also how much is an MOT test many thanks

Car insurance fees in Spain are mainly based on age, make & model (+ engine size and horse power) and no claim discount if available. MOT fees are around 55 euros for Diesel and 45 euros for Petrol but again depends on engine size too, although a fee increase is pronounced by the authorities for next year.
