Purchased a car last March in Cabo Roig paper all completed by garage. Not back in SPAIN till February. Just had a thought do we pay Car Tax or equivilant ever year is it due in January and if so where do you pay it thanks.

You do pay road tax each year, and the tax is levied by your local municipality, although the tax is actually collected by the SUMA agency. Unless you've set up a direct debit with them, SUMA will send you a notification and you would then have to go to a bank and pay the fee.
We come under Orihuela and the tax is taken from our account in April. It's about €50.
