We got a full refund from EasyJet but it took several weeks before they paid us back. We just booked a flight for September, hoping everything will be ok by then, but the flight there and back was £100 more expensive.

We had flights booked with Easy jet for March changed them to Sep no extra cost even though new flights were a lot more expensive.
Had a package holiday booked with TUI to Italy 8th May, still no one has been in touch with us.

I saw a message saying we could change our flight to later in the year for no extra cost, but it didn't tell you how to do this, so we asked for a refund.

I had a flight booked with EasyJet to Sardinia on May 19th but they sent an e-mail today telling me the flight had been cancelled and I had a choice to re-book for a later date, get a voucher or a refund, although the latter case would take longer!
Had booked a flight back in 14th March with Ryanair to Alicante they then informed me a week before it was cancelled and to bear with them for a cash refund because of the amount of passengers to refund , we’ll it’s the 13th May and still no refund 😡 also had one going out to Alicante on 20th May also cancelled , not holding out for a quick refund, any suggestions on getting their arse in gear ??

Join the club Eddie they owe us for 3 trips return from Alicante sick of the Billionaires pleading poverty going to get in touch with my MP to find his opinion. Time the Government CAA and Brussels started earning their big salaries and carried out what the law says should be happening.
I’ve been told off numerous people that because I paid with either a debit or credit card the bank is honoured to retrieve all your payment from your flight or holiday company and it’s usually very quick service m

Yes can understand where they are coming from regarding Credit Card repaying. But I was informed they will not pay because the company is still operating and not Bankrupt so not sure of the legalities On that but can understand why they don’t think they should pay personally those who have made Billions from these businesses should have all there assets ceased.to pay customers.

Hello I'm not sure where to respond in this series but Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act of 1974 is quite clear and has been for over 40 years that where a service has/ is NOT provided to the customer then the Credit Card company is jointly and severally liable with the trader for the refund of that money. Some credit card companies try the old trick of making the cost > £100 but the Act as written never specified an amount. I have just had my flight at end of June from ALC to LGW cancelled and offered a refund. Easyjet still playing about offering vouchers which I won't be able to use.

Yes Peter know doubt you are correct with the Law me personally not really bothered where my refund comes from but I can understand the Credit Card companies not paying these are multi million pound companies with Billionaire owners I have no sympathy what so ever for any of them or their futures their will be plenty waiting to take over .and probably and hopefully give customers a better service it cannot get any worse that I am sure of.
