Car Boot Sale
It appears to me that this forum gets more like a car boot sale every day, more and more "stuff" to scroll through. Is there no way of containing it all in the relevant buying and selling sections?

Couldn't agree more, the other forum has a limit of 3 ads per day from any one person and no bumping, don't know why it couldn't or shouldn't be implemented here.

Hello
I also wish there was a limit to the amount of For Sale stuff that is posted.
It's so repetitive ,scrolling past a list of someones entire household contents to find a post that you can reply to..

It brings to mind the most obscure item I've seen for sale on this forum, a second hand pink wash basket. It did make me laugh for some bizarre reason.
Can anyone beat that?

Hi Oxonia,
The 'problem' is that each individual post is contained within its own section in the poster's own location, but also the whole of the Costa Blanca Forum. Whilst doing the first, but not the second, would deal with your issue, it would also result in each of us having to trawl individual sections and individual locations, which would be even more time consuming. It could be that Alex could set up the "Buy and Sell" section in the same way as the "Property wanted to rent or buy" section, where members have to register separately in order to respond to a post - send him a PM, perhaps, and suggest it?
Personally, it doesn't bother me too much, I tend to scroll on by although, like Rob60, I'm occasionally amused or intrigued by some of the more obscure items for sale, but as the saying goes, "One man's rubbish is another man's treasure".
Kind regards,
Kim
