I cant honestly see the Water Company re sitting it and if the water meters are also inside the cupboard, then access will be required by them to read the meters .

As per my earlier advice, if it was me I would get a notice fixed to the cupboard advising if obstructed when needing access to cupboard please knock at Casa number *** . If you are out then leaving your car there could prove problematic .  It is worth noting that as you jointly own the stretch of roadway with your neighbours you have equal right to park anywhere on it as long as you do not restrict access to driveways. If anyone objects to you parking outside your house then ask them if they will mind if you park outside their house instead. That should solve that one.

Yes I think your right but I will ask and see what we can do... No point in having a car when ya cart park it out side ya door.. 

What will they do if you ignore them ? 

If access is given via the notice on the cupboard then access is not being denied .

What happens when you leave as I take it you aren't living there permanently? I would ask for a set of the community rules anyway to make sure what they actually say before you do anything.

Were you aware it was a community when you purchased?  I would always ask for the rules and also some community minutes to see what the bugbears are. We moved from one as some of the rules put in place after the original set up became very petty but usually there are good reasons for most rules when you ask. If you don't agree with them they can always be changed at an AGM if you have enough support. If a particular rule, or placement of taps, is causing you problems and does stop your enjoyment of your property it isn't unreasonable to ask that the community pay for the taps to be moved  to where they can be accessed by anyone who needs to without being in anyones way- that might cause the least problems. Sometimes you can end up with an almost civil war type situation when people take offence!

Hi yes it says no parking at the water box but my house is the only house to have it in near enough the middle of the wall going out in August so I will ask to talk to a member of the committee. Don't won't to cause trouble. Many thanks for your help Linda Ireland
