Just back from a month in my 2nd "home" at Lomas De Cabo Roig.  Here's the latest (apologies if repeating anyone else's comments)…..The Overseas Supermarket has all manner of British foods, even if just a little bit expensive as presumably everything is imported.

The new Cabo Roig Commercial centre has the Bengal Palace (went there twice and food was lovely and absolutely no issues with service as per a previous reply. Although I would have complained after half an hour and not waited 2 hours. It is also very reasonably priced.

The Get Fresh restaurant (next to Bengal Palace) has a really nice menu and although we didn't go, spoke to neighbours who had and sait it was very good (especially for kids), and reasonably priced.

We tried Maria Limonda (upstairs) for drinks and cocktails.  It's quite expensive and we had to send 2 PIna Colada cocktails back as they were very poor, but once we complained they did give better replacements and took the original ones off the bill.

There's a French patisserie/Café which sells snacks and ice cream which looks like a nice little place.

We didn't try the other new restaurant on the ground floor or Isobel's Italian on the upper floor.

Brido57, we too found the cocktails at the cocktail bar very week, so that may be something others should be aware of if they visit.

Fashion City is quite a new business and only opened within the past year. Around the corner from the Chinese Bazzar, next to the Estate Agents, a  car hire company has now taken over the premises formerly occupied by a building contractor, and a couple more Estate agents occupy premises in the New Shopping Plaza

The Casino although appearing completed months ago has yet to open and fitting out of the corner premises adjacent to it has ,for the time being , come to a halt.

H LeckyLes - yes my wife and her sister's did find the cocktails very weak compared to other bars in the area eg La Fuente.  But all in all, the new centre is coming along nicely and will be only help the area and hopefully more of the units will be occupied sooner rather than later.

There is of course the other places such as the Dubliner, Alfies and Buenos Noches, San Francisco etc. which are now competing.  Although my "local" is now Maschi.

All in all, coming along nicely

The increase in  cars parked iduring the evening ,in and near the shopping plaza this Summer is testament to its bright future.

Hi Saznaz

Lomas De Cabo Roig is a couple of minutes away in a car from the Strip.

If travelling in the direction from La Zenia , carry on along  the dual carriage way with The Strip on your left over the other side of the carriageway. You will see a right filter sign for Dehesa de Campamore, take this turning which is a little before the Pharmacy and health centre.

This short road will lead past a garden centre on the left and will end at a roundabout, take the 3rd turning off the roundabout marked San Miguel and travel over the motorway bridge road which will take you to a petrol station . The Lomas Centre is immediately to the right on the La Fuenta road.
