What no one has said is that there is not a pathway on this road so when it's dark you take your life in your hands. Yes, it's an up and coming area but if you have children no way would I walk it. Last time went to La Fuente waited 2 hours for a cab back to Campoamor!!!!!!!

Thanks for that Cheryl. I would deffinatly rent for a while get the feel of the place.it won't be for a while though I'm 55 i have a place in Puerto Rico gran Canaria which I hope to retire to this year or maybe next year but anybody that has been there knows that there is a lot of hills and steps .all so even though I love my place over there with amazing views and all year round sun if I move from my current place in a few years onto a place with no hills for what I can get for a modest 2=3 bed apartment I could get a villa with a pool in mainland Spain.. all so only 2.30 hours away from Ireland....still as I said just thinking ahead
