I need to have finger prick blood test done for INR result ! I’m on Warfarin ! Any help appreciated thanks

The nurse at the health centres do it. If a resident then SIP card, If not a resident then it is one of the things covered by the GHIC.

At La Mata Salud the checks are done between 8am -8.30am Mon to Fri. Go to reception first to register

FYI - I'm on blood thinners as well, but I just take two pills a day - no need for blood tests.

I suggest you ask your doctor about this sometime. I've mentioned this to one or two people on this forum before and at least one said that he/she had done that and the doctor immediately switched to pills. So much easier!

Me too Irene, this medication is not appropriate for everyone, several people I've met over the 11yrs Ive taken Sintrom. have been told it is not suitable for them
