Has anyone had the same experience?

I missed a payment to Iberdrola in Febuary because I did not transfer money into my spainish bank.Dispite funds going in to the bank in March Iberdrola and my bank (bankia) stopped the direct debit.I did not understand this and assumed things were back to normal,however they weren't and Iberdrola disconected my meter.I only found out about this from my daughter who is currently in our appartment without any power as I had to start a new contract which takes 3to5 days to connect.

Thank you for your reply ,we have not yet been reconnected ,my daughter has been in our apartment since last Wednesday without power and they come home Wednesday so she is not a happy bunny !!!!.I will look into your payment suggestion as it seems a good idea.We are being charged nearly €100 to be reconnected so all in all this has been a bad experience .

We are coming out next week so hopefully the power will be on before then !!!
