We currently have bottled gas supplying our home in Cabo Roig but would like the convenience of connection to a main gas supply.  Does anyone know who supplies mains gas to the area and if so, do you have any experience of what the standing charges are?

Thanks

Frank

This isn’t an exact reply to your query, but on the assumption that there may not be the pipe infrastructure in situ for mains gas, have you considered having one of those large storage tanks? Much more convenient, refilled efficiently by tanker, extremely economical, and usually supplied and installed FOC by whichever company you contract to supply the gas.

Where we live, there is no chance of mains gas (nor anything much else!!) and although we are not an ‘urbanisation’ in that sense, but a small group of similar houses, nearly everybody has the tanks. In fact as the houses are built in groups of 3, there is one tank per three houses, metered separately; everyone says that it’s efficient and economical.

Just a thought..........

Thanks. An interesting thought. As we are in an established urbanisation located a stones throw from the Cabo Roig Strip, I am expecting a mains gas supply infrastructure is likely to be close to us - but need to get this confirmed in the first instance.  Not sure how I do this hence need to explore this option first.

Thanks again, appreciate you taking the time to respond though.
