When travelling back from Spain to uk I believe I need a test 2 days prior to leaving Spain. Is this a pcr test or antigen test I need?
Also is there anywhere local to catral to have the test done ?

Hi,
If you were double-vaccinated in the UK, to return from Spain (an 'Amber" country), you currently need an Antigen test before you leave Spain. You also need to complete the Passenger Locator Form and pre-purchase a Day 2 test, as you must put the reference number on your PLF before leaving Spain.
However, there has been a suggestion that the UK may add Spain to the "Amber Plus" list which would require 10 days isolation on return to the UK and the pre-purchase of a Day 2 and Day 8 test, so it's worth keeping an eye on the Gov.UK website for any short notice changes in regulations - this link includes additional links to Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland:
