We follow the Catral forum as more active, but live in Albatera.
? Can my husband order a curry from Catral to take away, even though we live in Albatera.
H.
No is the simple answer to that one, sorry.
..... but if you do you can get me a Chicken Jalfreze!
There are a number of establishments doing deliveries in our area, mainly pizzas and Indians but also an American Diner. I suppose it depends on how far they are prepared or allowed to travel. One restaurant charges differently for delivery depending on where you are!

A take-away of your choice is not essential, so no is still the answer I'm afraid. There are enough take-aways and supermarkets in Albatera to sustain life!
Edit: Ask yourself how badly it will affect your life if you go without it and then how badly it could affect your life (and potentially the lives of others) if you go ahead and if you are prepared to risk a fine and/or arrest for your curry.

Absolutely, remember that trips out should be for the things you need not the things you want and for the vast majority there is very little need to travel outside of Albatera to secure those.

My town too!
There are plenty of supermarkets selling ingredients to make curries, it all comes down to essential travel and driving to Catral to pick up a curry is not essential travel. Having a curry is not essential.
I don't know which takeaways are still open in Albatera because my husband is only going out for essentials; the nearest Supermarket (Mercadona), the pharmacy, to the ATM, to get bottled gas, to dispose of rubbish and to collect post and my husband does everything in one trip, roughly every two weeks.
I'd love to go to pick up some of my favourites from Iceland and visit the English butcher just around the corner in Torrevieja or get an Indian takeaway from Frailes or go take a walk along the beach but I can't, so I don't.

If that means you actully went then had you been stopped you'd have been fined and rightly so. Shame on you.
Any one of us could apply the same the self serving logic to travel anywhere for a take-away be it Catral, Quesada, why not Torrevieca even, but we don't because we abide by the rules which are for the protection of all INCLUDING you.
