I think your right. I don’t know of anyone who has had it.
I know of at least 2 people who have had it, one of whom is over 80, I believe.

I keep seeing things in the English press here saying you should update your contact info etc with Alicante general hospital.
Does anyone know more about this? Providing nothing has changed with YoSalud, is there any need to do anything?

If you have your health card and are registered at your local health centre you don’t need to do anything, just wait for them to contact you.

Morning everyone
I can see lots of us are confused regarding the vaccination in Spain - I am not an exception. I am 36 and my partner is 57 - we have both been contacted by the NHS asking us both to book our jabs in the UK. (We live in Spain and have done so for the last 6 months)
We therefore would appreciate some advice on the following:
- if we get our UK medical records and take them to the centro de salud, would they add us to the vulnerable/more at risk (if you like) category?
- what is the interval between the first and second doses in Spain?
We just dont seem to find some guidance on when we can possibly have the jabs.
Thanks everyone in advance

This post that was quoted has been deleted.
The worst part of this debacle is the authorities dont seem to care that people aren't being vaccinated. Proof if proof were needed, regional handling of the roll out ain't working and never will.
I want to know who's going to make the tens of thousands of phone calls required to call us for our vaccinations?

The short answer is no-one!
Well they (The System) called out all the over 90s in Torrevieja and have started now on the over 80s according to the Spanish press. If you have ever had to wait for an appointment for some treatment at the hospital, you will have received an sms with the details of your appointment. Sometimes a day before the appointment you may have received a reminder call, but not always. SMS's for vaccination appointments will be sent out by a computer automatically just as they were before for any other treatment, I do not see any problem with this. My Spanish neighbours and friends are in the same boat age for age. None of our over 70s acquaintances have been notified yet of any nationality. We do not know any over 80s.
My wife has been waiting for a lung capacity test for over 4 months, she has not chased it up because she does not want anything to do with the Pneumology depts at the present moment for obvious reasons.

I am booked to fly back to Spain in May Im 64 have had both jabs and no way am i going back there until the pathetic Spanish govt get their fingers out. They have publicly stated they are not allowing visitors until 70% of the country have been vaccinated Ha! Ha! when will that be, 2023?! Sorry but will stay here with family and keep safe until the time is right go back. Not normally a great fan of the British Govt but on this occasion they are putting the rest of the world to shame.
