I wouldn't limit yourself to meeting people from your own country. Broaden your horizons, there are some really nice and interesting people from a host of different countries in Spain.

Future friends pop up in the unlikeliest of locations so just get yourself out there.

You could try Rusan rent a car. The only thing is they are in San Miguel. They may offer a pick up service. Try giving them a call or message on WhatsApp. I recently rented a van off them. https://www.rentacarrusan.com/
