Hi, there are quite a few Gestorias or Asesorias to assist you with the Residency application and issue, many of our clients in the area

higly recomend SGM Legal in Benijofar (Mrs. Silvia) www.sgmlegalspain.com.

Hope this helps.

Regards

We did our residencias ourselves - it's quite easy provided you've got all the correct documents (but difficult if you haven't!).

If you want to use someone fairly local, contact our friend who lives in Cox. Tell him I referred you:

He's English but has lived here a long time, has a Spanish wife and kids, and knows the Spanish bureaucracy backwards.

It's not as easy as it used to be, because if you haven't got a permanent (plastic) SIP card, you need a private health insurance policy that complies with residencia requirements, and you also need financial proofs that your income is also sufficient to meet residencia requirements.

As a Catral resident, you could apply at the national police station at Elche or Orihuela, but you'd need to check what hours they deal with us furriners.
