Winter weather

Can anyone tell me about the average winter weather in Cocentiana? Is it very different to the Alicante average?

It will feel much colder as most Spanish properties are built to keep out the sun and are not constructed with insulation in mind. It is warmer on my covered terrace with awnings around it than inside the house as it heats up from the sun during the day.

Thanks Cheryl. We’re at the start of our search for a holiday home with a view to moving permanently in a year or so. The weather is a major factor in the move so we want to choose carefully.
