Hi we are all now aware of the consequence of Brexit. If you live in the UK it's going to be very complicated, as people have already explained.

Duolingo is a free app that you can down load which is easy to use and really good. That you can do now.

You will need a car, so if you're from the UK you need to grasp that. If you become resident in Spain you will need to take their test.

The restriction on days see the schengen calendar can Google and download.

Probably best to rent first and find any job that has been advertised for a while with no take up, you will need visa etc then once resident look for one in your field. To become resident you will need to prove you are earning/income is around €30,000 euros.

So many things to cover, but i hope this provides an insight.

Best of luck

Hi Andrea22

Thanks for your information.  Not everybody is coming directly from the UK.

We have a house in Torrevieja, we can offer you to rent for 6 or 12 month. So you can take time to look for a permanent house in time and also looking for work in this area. We have bought us a house in Hongarije, so we will be there to working in the house for at least 1 or 1 and a half year.

Unless almost every Brit stops travelling and holidaying in Spain, I doubt, sadly, anyone cares about extending the 90/180 Schengen rule. Even then, again, sadly I’m not sure anything will change.

Hello all. Can anyone recommend a reputable plumber please in the Almoradi area, preferably who can speak English, but not essential - I'm sure we can work around it.

Kind regards with gratitude,

Sinead.

Hello Sinead, it may be best to start a new post rather than 'piggy backing' this one as you will probably receive more favourable responses. Good luck!

I like the sound of your property. Do you have any photos to share?

Beautiful property and looks very well maintained. Is it longterm rental, for example, 3-5 years? What exactly is the location?

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

I also have a property to lett, but possibly wrong area for you. It's a 2 bed, 2 bath ground floor apartment in Almoradi. Long term would suit me but what ever would work for the tenant.

€500 per month plus bills.

Regards,

Sinead.
