Hi, we’re, fingers crossed, moving to Benigembla from the UK in July. All very scary but exciting at the same time! Any advice from other locals in the area would be much appreciated!

A couple of websites that may have helpful information for you are:
Citizens Advice Bureau Spain for bureaucratic stuff, and
N332 for anything to do with driving in Spain. It is for English speaking people and is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil and has an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code on it.

Thanks so much, we’ll check that website. We’re planning to bring our UK registered car out with us to get us here. From what we’ve read, we can keep it in Spain for up to 6 months in which time we’ll buy a car in Spain and take our UK car back to the UK to sell. Is that your understanding of it?
