I asked who was doing it, you chose not to respond. I just proposed a way it may make sense to people who thing non EU nationals can have rights of being in the EU when they rejected the EU.

All Eu citizens do have the rights, if you bought in Uk as an EU citizen you would not expect these type of rights.

Some lawyer maybe trying to make a few €

oadbyman: I believe that your question was directed at alan32 as you quoted his post in your reply. I believe it was reported that a legal advisor to the property industry was posing the question in reply to a question on people selling their homes.. This convention is not an EU convention and is not solely for the benefit of EU citizens it is a European Convention to which the UK is a signatory.

...my wife’s British proof of vaccinations and by the time we found it in our hand luggage we were too late the flight closed. This Was very distressing for both of us and we had to book another flight , lose our onward travel rail ticket in the UK etc. EasyJet offered no support and the whole doc check procedure is a bit of a panic, especially if you are amongst the final boarders. I would not like this to happen to anyone else so please share this warning.

Sorry to say this happened to me too, the day after the UK had dropped its requirement for plf forms. Nevertheless Ryanair in my case, threw out , 3 x 70 year olds and a 65 'er, into the winter darkness at 6-30 pm. Fortunately I remembered the 7 pm bus to Torrevieja and took one of the guys back with me. We then had to rebook and activate new plf's without a WiFi source because I can't find an internet cafe around La Zenia. So next day, off in the airport bus again to persuade the Ryan info desk to do it for me, which they did, and back again the following day for the flight. Guess what, checkin said " we dont need UK plf anymore " . Please bring back the internet cafes to save us oldies from this relentless torture . RR , returning this week with everything crossed and an Airbox 2 in my bag ( hope it works !! )
