Hi everyone, We are hoping to spent at least 2 months in Spain over the winter period to look at buying a property but have been quoted a ridicolous amount and just wondered if anyone could point us in the right direction please🙏. We have some medical problems but are in "fit" condition. We are both over 67. We have been quoted nearly £1,000😱. Can anyone inform me of the best way to get around this daylight robbery PLEASE🙏😪

I am similar age but no health problems, we use LV ( Liverpool Victoria) and found their prices best by far.

We use Airbnb for our long stays and costs us under £600 for 5 weeks stay in Torrevieja in the winter months.

Quoted a ridiculous amount for what exactly? Insurance or lodgings?
