Despite it being wedged between the A7 and AP7 motorways the reviews say it is quiet so you will be well situated to get anywhere but you will need a car.

You would have supermarkets close by in Crevillente with Catral which has a bigger expat population, as does Ciudad Quesada nearby which have English bars, shops and restaurants. We live just up the road in the campo of Albatera and find we can get all day to day needs met there, as you would in Crevillente but there are shopping Malls on the outskirts of Murcia just off the A7 and La Zenia Boulevard off the AP7 although you have to take a detour to avoid the double tolls, the Habaneras in Torrevieja and the city of Elche the other way

We find we never visit the coast during peak summer but it is lovely to walk along the front, stopping off for a bite to eat and a drink at other times and parking is not usually an issue.

Apart from officialdom we find everywhere really friendly wherever we go.

Hi, to us it's a question of lifestyle. We have lots of friends who live on various sites around Albatera but not this one.

The pros are you have your own community ready made which is mainly Brits. There is often a social life ready made.

Against are the difficulties of avoiding the nuisances who live on the sites as you're all close. Financially you have to accept you will lose. You will pay a lot of money for rent and your park home will depreciate. For example on the Albatera sites you can pay 300€ or more a month rent. This will actually get you a nice apartment in Albatera with no capital outlay.

The choice is yours as they say.

Two totally different lifestyle choices which do not bear comparison.

We have a place for sale on The Palms, link attached.  We have decided to move back to the UK due to Health Concerns, but we have loved our time on The Palms.  The pool area is lovely and peaceful ideal for visiting family members.  It is a short ride to Catral or Crevillente both places you are made to feel welcome.  Although you are next to the motorways (which is a good thing) you don't feel that you are.  Our House looks onto open fields and is the perfect place for outdoor living, our porch is a haven of happiness,
