Good afternoon

My family and I are looking to buy just outside Crev in San Antonio de la Florida.  We will be moving with my sister and her family so have found two properties on the same land.

We will be looking for infant and junior schools (Spanish equivalent) and information regarding the local area.

Does anyone know anything about this area, is it good / bad / indifferent?  Any advice or info would be very gratefully received and repaid with beer and tapas when we get there!

Gracias!

Tia

Hello Tia

Please ignore the ´North African´ jibe, it is completely false, as you will see, and is only coming from an ignorant person who should know better in the current media atmosphere.  Likewise the snide supermarket reference.

I have lived in Crevillent for 18 years and it is a great place with four schools of good quality both junior and senior.  Supermarkets are Lidl, Mercadona, Dia, Supervalue, plus another one I can´t remember in and around the town centre.

The people are super friendly and there has never been any problems or rascism:  people go out of their way to help if needed.  There are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants of good quality.

Communications are very good:  the trains, both local and the AVE are 5 minutes drive away, likewise the autovia.  Its 8 minutes to the best hospital in the region - Vinalopo, and the health centre is managed by them.   The service is second to none.

If you need any help then just send me a PM and I will be glad to help.

Best of luck!   Richard & Elke

You don't choose the school. Go to the Town Hall. There someone allocates the school.
