Hi Laura, we just bought a property in Daya Nueva. We were looking in Torrevieja but did not like it there and came across Daya Nueva by chance.  We fell for a property there and stayed around village for 3 days to test the area. We went back and stayed in La Marina for a week whilst travelling to Daya Nueva to get a feel for the area and loved it. They have everything you need there, medical centre, butcher, bakery, supermarket, hardware store, garage, pharmacy, hairdresser etc.  There are several bars and restaurants close by Yo Yo's more of a Spanish tapas bar, El Hogar which does nice meals which is Spanishy too but speak good English, a few smaller bars and of course the main ex pats bar called Imanyo's for everyone which is run by Antonio and more like a British pub/restaurant with more British food like pies, fish, chips etc. they also do entertainment days and nights with the likes of bingo, quizzes, karaoke, etc and a golf society. 30 minutes drive from Alicante airport and 15 minutes approx to Guardimar beaches. Almaradi is a few minutes away with a lot of shops for anything else you need. We only have it like yourselves as a holiday home but have made so many new friends already. We love it there. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Hi there,

We are looking at buying a holiday apartment in Deya Nueva and more specifically, we have seen a property on Av. de Almoradi.

We have been to other parts of the Alicante region, but not here in person. It would be great to hear from anyone living/holidaying in this location as to what it's like and any pros and cons.

The area looks lovely and we've researched online via google maps/ YouTube/ online community's but it would be great to get a sense of what it's like from real people!

We would be coming out only for holidays - around 4/5 times a year.

Many thanks,

Laura

We are also looking to purchase a property in Daya Nueva,  I have read up on various villages but this offers more with being a bigger village, close to Airport and Beach,

We just need to get out and view the village and property’s for sale

GOOD LUCK
