Hi all you sunny people !
In September our family are relocating to Denia , our daughter will be at LES and our 21 year old son will be studying in Barcelona.
my wife has an Irish passport and our question is :
Can our dependant son study at universi in Barcelona for a year without the need to obtain a visa ? We understand that he doesn’t need one but if anyone is in same situation please advise .

We moved to Benitachell almost 4 years ago. We believe that it is best to always get advice from an attorney. There were so many rules in Spain that we were unaware of before moving here.
We do not think its great idea to just ask around... better to be safe than sorry...
I would suggest he would need a student visa if staying over 90 days. Only those under 18 are classed as dependants.
