We have registered on the Padrón at Els Poblets, we don't speak a lot of Spanish and the lady at Els Poblets town hall didn't speak much English, but I think she said we had to take a form she gave us somewhere before going to a Els Poblets doctor/health centre, it's this somewhere that I need to know please.

Yes, assuming you also have a form S1 , you need to take all your paperwork to your local INSS office (Social Security).
When registered & with a SS number, the documents they give you must then be taken to your local Salud where you will be allocated a Dr.
Its always best to take a translator to medical appts to avoid misunderstanding.

First and most important question is are you Spanish resident?
If not then one, you should not be on a padron and two, you have no right register for Healthcare.

If you are officially resident in Spain and hold form S1 (only available to those of State Pension Age) issued by the NHS in the UK you can register for healthcare online without visiting a INSS office. Following the guidance in this link:

If you are not entitled to form S1 you will need private heath insurance.
Alternatively, complete the form in John123456 link above. Copy everything (you don't get the S1 back) and take it to a Correos in an unsealed envelope. They will stamp the forms and send them off for you.
