Hi, I hope to be living in the Denia area soon, and am wondering if there are english speakers in groups that cater for a couple of my interests.. "walking/hiking" and "photography" .... thank you in advance for any info or advice.... Harry.
hi, there are many groups mostly under the umbrela of U3A - everything from easy walking to hill climbing, just Google U3A Denia here there is a general newspage but there are many groups and it is most enjoyable, all English speaking although varios nationalities . https://u3adenia.com/ regards Mairead

There are walks organized by U3A Javea and Moraira/Teulada groups. There is also the Jalon Valley Walker group who do longer hikes. Then there is the Cala Blanca walking group. ..graded easier to hard. They all have websites or are on facebook. Javea Connect is a great site to ask questions. Very helpful people reply! For photography, Karla Darocas, Spain Lifestyle does photography group lessons etc. She is on face book.
We have recently moved to the area...preferred Javea to Denia as also golf, bowl etc. Also, great walks on your doorstep and only fifteen minutes over the mountain to Denia.
