You must have had your vaccine then there are a lot of us 60 and over who haven't even had an appointment yet. I am going to my health centre tomorrow for the 3rd time and if l don't get any help there to get an appointment l am going straight to Torre.

Yes had it Tuesday in Torre. Centre, that other lady I mentioned, went straight there and spoke to the security man, and he just told her to line up at the queue that spoke English, and she got her vacuna, seems the Torre. Salud, is not helping Brits to get there vacuna, not sure why. Only reason they ask for Ehic card, would mean GB pay? It's very wrong, I would just go to Torre, it won't hurt, it's behind Carrefour.

Yes possibly, I went in with my daughter to ask showed my TIE card as a resident, and reception said I needed a EHIC card, which I now know is rubbish, through my solicitor who I've known for years, sent me back with her assistant, what a change, because I'm 74 had an appt. in Torrevieja next day...

..., that should have happened first time. Others had the same problem there, one lady actually went to the vacuna station in Torrevieja, and got the jab for her & her husband right away, he was 76, never got help from Quiron salud, shocking.

Why would you expect Quiron to help you?

At last l have got both my appointments for Covid jab at Guardamar salud, 3rd time lucky. I copied and pasted and google translated and hey presto appointments from the same person who was horrible last week. If l had no joy l was off to Torre and just walking in to vaccination centre. So if you are still trying stick with it or just go to Torre.

Congrats! You would think they had access to translation service, as we did in local government, it's important, could save lives in this environment!

Quiron is private, not part of the public health system in Spain.

Where is disorganised?. Absolutely not in Torrevieja. Had a message on my phone, 1st one April 6 th ,2nd one 29 June ,Astra Zeneca, 12 weeks apart. In and out in 15 mins, no side effects apart from achy arm.So efficient and organised

Hello

In line with other  forum members procedure for 2nd vaccine appointments--  (including mine ) you will be contacted by the same method, as you were, for your 1st vaccine, regardless of which type of vaccine you are getting.

Cheers

Elinspain

Not necessarily correct.   My first vaccine appointment was advised by telephone but I was given written details of my second vaccine appointment when I attended for the first vaccine.
