Morning,

From Delores  on the Elche/Santa Pola Road Their are several large nurseries and they all tend to have a good mixture of plants/ trees etc.

It definitely pays to visit as many as possible as prices can vary and if you find the right one you can have a deal with them!

I personally have brought palms, citrus, olives And coconut etc from different ones as I have shopped around....they are all mainly growers and wholesellers who supply the smaller local garden centers in towns etc so your instantly cutting out the middle man!

For example on one purchase I was quoted circ €2500-3000 for several large palms From half a dozen places and was pondering weather to rethink when I fell upon a “ backstreet” outfit in the same area and got exactly what I wanted and delivered and planted for €1000 all in! A bit of leg work can pay off and plants can start at a few euros!
hope that helps and good luck!
