Loads of good places to eat either on the front (prom) or set back. Lots of different cuisines available. The prom is a decent walk. You see Spanish families just walk one end to the other before going to eat. You can also walk to the next bay, Muchavista beach, then on to San Juan beach. I think you ask about the tram? The station is in the town part rather than the beach, but very easy to find and opens up further places..Benidorm in one direction, Alicante the other with lots of stops in between.

Coffee shops..urban zest near the harbour, bigger cups of coffee, nice tapas there too and good cocktails etc. Theres a coffee/ ice cream place on the corner by the harbour, nice coffee there too, cafe liguoise very nice there, (coffee with ice-cream. Brel on the front, good food but a bit expensive. La Cova overlooking the harbour, excellent food but make sure you ask for menu del dia or menu del noche. Bit further out in coveta fuma, tottys teas, good home made food (english). If you have a car and want Chinese, try Casa Yong near San Juan, all you can eat menu, good price but service takes a bit of getting used to. Good value tapas, try 100 Montaditos. All depends what type of food you like to eat not many bad places come to mind.

Forgot to mention. If you like Indian food. Try Dawat on San Bartolome.

Have you tried Dawat? I prefer there but we all have different taste.

If not, might be worth a try for comparison.

We got TAM Multi trip cards from the tobacconist on Carrer Sant Pere (one road back from the beach). I'm sure there will be lots of other outlets around town.

The fares are set out on the Tram Website - but the TAM website is a bit more difficult to navigate

Good luck and enjoy your trip!
