Without being too mrbid can anybody recomend a cheap or reasonable cremation service in the area up to Benidorm or Alicante areas. Many Thanks. Steve Spain

Hi Steve,

If you cut out the middle man of an insurance or funeral plan company, you can go direct to the funeral services they use which, in the Alicante region, is Grupo ASV Funeral Services:

Many thanks Kim,have written to ASV and await reply. Have found a site,A3, on the internet based on Valencia who do burials and cremations starting at 1300/1500 for the above services. Don't like to think about this but at 79 it is foolsh not to. May we all live a full and healthy life. Thanks. Steve

There is a Tanatorio just outside Benidorm with which you may make whatever arrangements you wish personally.

In the same predicament. I want to be cremated and my ashes returned in a nice little box, just like my old 60 kilo dog.. 110 euros.

Funerals...the job that never fails to supply customers...willingly or not. Sick profiteering.... Sorry..there should be a free basic cremation service, supplied by Governments. We pay taxes our whole lives...give us a little back, with dignity.
