Hi,

Nice to meet you all. My husband and I are moving to El Campello in June with our two teenage children, we are looking for an English international school. I have meetings with two in Alicante, if anyone has any children in secondary school, who can share any tips or advice that would be fantastic.

Hello Shee and welcome to the forum.
Nothing to do with schools but if you have sold a house this year although there is no CGT to pay on the sale of your main home in the UK, there is in Spain. You become tax resident if you spend more than 183 days here in any tax year so you are likely to become tax resident in Spain from 1/1/2022. If this is the case you may want to speak to a tax advisor.
Best of luck finding a school.

Thank you Cheryl, we are Irish and will both be working remotely from Spain and paying tax in Spain. Appreciate your help and I will follow the links you have attached. :)

The Spanish education system is far away from what we anglo-saxons are used to. 20% of the under 24 of age never graduated from public schools, and youth unemployment exceeds 40%. Private institutions, though expensive, have a far better output. I'd recommend the "Kings College" in Alicante-Benalua.
