If you are retiring to El Campello you will find it difficult not to contact English, and other British nationalities, the place is teeming with them! Assuming you have already chosen/bought a place, your neighbours should be your first port of call for local haunts. There are many Brit run cafes/bars and, of course, many other local establishments frequented by the various ex-pat communities. The International Club (formally English Speaking Club) is another place to meet, has webpage and fb page. Also a thriving social club.

Hi, there are lots of English ex pats living in Campello. Most bars and restaurants towards the front of the town speak English. Bernie's bar on the front is VERY British and if you want sports and quiz nights that is the place. There are several charity shops in the town that are run by British people that organise social events so if you want to get involved in animal care etc they would be good. We love Campello and have a number of friends that live there so if you need any more advice please feel free to contact me.

Hi, We moved here 7 months ago, its amazing! You will find lots of expats in El Campello especially this time of year. Lots of bars by front where English speakers hang out. Try Charlies Den café opposite the beach car park on main road Sant Bartolome! Or link onto billinguecampello.weebly.com, they meet up every Thursday evening at the café in the central park (near El Campello tram station). Spanish and English speakers and more. They also arrange outings. Great place to meet people. Also have a chat to ladies and gents in the Charity shops (one Avenida Germanies, other on Sant Bartolome nearly opposite Tedi shop, last by tram station round corner from first. You will get lots of info from the lovely people always willing to help in there!
Good luck!
