I need two implants - can anyone please suggest an orthodontist who will take the trouble to explain the whole procedure instead of assuming that I know all about orthodontistry? Thank you

Any qualified dentist should be able to explain in detail implant procedure. And unless they are only after the money, they will tell you, if you are the right candidate for implants.Orthodontist is looking after alighment of teeth, so I don't think you need that. Do you need straighten up your teeth before implants? Anyway start from your trusted dentist, if he is not an implantologist as well, he needs to help you to find one. Implantologist is a dentist, who completed course how to place implants.
Implants are not forever if not looked after. So your dentist or implantologist will need to check them regularly.

My dentist is excellent, and I have had my teeth re-aligned, but my dentist cannot do the implants - he has proposed a colleague, who I have no faith in, having met him.

My dentist is Dr. Godoy in El Campello. Highly qualified. Implants a speciality. Speaks good English. Just google him for details of his practice.
