Hi we have an apartment in El Campello. We have a small tank that produces our hot water but it has stopped working. Can anyone recommend a plumber/electrician/handyman who may be able to help?

It’s possible that you may need to replace the water heater. We’ve had our house fir 20 years and have moved onto our 3rd heater.  Think it’s the lime scale that is causing the damage.

Has your heater tripped your electricity?  have you checked your fuse box, possibly it has tripped and there’s nothing wrong with the heater.
Sorry, don’t live in your area so cannot help.  Pop into your local BRICO shop and ask if they can recommend someone. Good luck.

Thank you so much - our friends are there now and they say the electric hasn’t tripped. Maybe, as you say, we need a new heater. Very kind of you to reply. Thank you

We just arrived here a few weeks ago after an absence of a few months and our gas boiler didn't work - think it's about 20 years old (previous owner never did annual checkups). We just got the gas boiler company to come and do the annual checkup and thankfully it worked - something 'loose'??  Try and see if you can find a plumber first to check on it before buying a new one... good luck!
