I applied online to exchange my driving license when my residency application was accept December 2020. I applied for proof from DVLA and they said they had sent it to traffico elche. Traffico say they not received it. I've also found out it's the same form you get when asking for old paper part of license so sent that to them. I could not then get an appointment to do what was necessary to exchange my driving license for a Spanish one! I now understand my U.K. License not now valid to drive in U.K. good job brexit !

Anyone recommend a driving school in or near El Raso?

I think you're a tad confused there.

The paper counterpart to the licence was abolished a number of years ago and in any case bore no significant information in regard to the holders entitlement.

You must be talking about the Letter of Entitlement which DVLA will issue on demand which is a copy of what DGT will have been acquiring for applicants.

I believe that route has been previously explored by others but with no success.

Good luck with your driving test!

Yes that the one when you have to give a reference number to someone who needs to see additional info of your licenses. I printed that off and sent it DVLA say that's all they send anyway.
