Do I need to go to Alicante to get a TIE. I've heard that they may be opening an office in Elche. Just wondering if this is the case.

Hi Jean,

Yes, good news, the foreigners' offices at Torrevieja, Elche and Benidorm are now processing TIE applications, in addition in Alicante.  When you go online to make the appointment, the system will offer you those offices which have availability.  I've updated my guide to reflect this change.

Kind regards,

Kim
