Hi

In Elche region, many english closed to the beach, La Marina, etc, but in the country side, you have Hondon de la Nieves, 15mn from Elche.

There is Quesada in south Elche, famous english village.

Am very grateful for this infirmation. Had actually found quite a number of lovely flats in the City yet my husband needs ensh speaking people around to feel connected.

There are a few of us English speaking folks in Elche. We love living here. We’re in new Altabix as we wanted a swimming pool and terrace. We’re travelling at the moment but we’re back in May and would be happy to meet up. (Karen and Steve from UK)

Hi welcome to Costa Blanca.

We are going to be near Elche near Orihuela (la murada)

We are in Process of buying our new home now.

Been staying in Calp for last 2 months.

Be careful if you have sold and become resident this year ref Tax on old house. Maybe seek advice before.

Hi Robin & Eva

Elche is the most wonderful city....very progressive and a pleasure to explore. We currently visit around 5 times per year until we retire in around 20 months. We live in the city close to Ave de Libertad.

Great bus service but everything walkable. Airport bus stop 50 meters away and train station Elx Carrus two minutes.

Yes very few English in the city however that suits us fine....Great neighbours and lovely downtown shopping and restaurants...

Hello. Thanks for your heart warming reply

When you say very few english speaking people makes me wonder if they live in a certain area. We do not really need a huge brit community but a few nice people we might share meals with and be printed in the right direction when we look for something spécific such as restaurants medical help hair dresser and such. Sorry about my phone which has decided to turn French again so that settle the Upgrade ee phone. Hope you give me some good tipo

My husband cannot follow spanish conversation. Thanks loads for your help

Much appreciated. Eva and Rob

Oh dear we have to pay tax on the one we sell yet Again? Have to research! We have a home in Devon so not planning to become full time residents. Calpe is beautiful yet expensive so am looking all over the place. Many people are helping me thankfully yet truly need all the help I can get. Shall need private healthcare tips as well. Do you stay in Elche at all or just Visit? Looks beautiful online yet have never visited. Wish you a lovely evening.

Hi Guys

Small world we also have a place in Devon over looking Torbay to Brixham. We rent out on long term and never plan to sell as good income for when we retire.

Their are always ways around things and need to enquire before moving or doing anything to find best way to suit you.

are you looking for Apartment or House and full time or just Hoildays?

We had Apartment in Estepona for 5 years and sold it in May 2022.

maybe send message.
