Anything needed to know on moving to Elda? - Page 2

Hi The Green Family,

We have just purchased our new villa near Monovar not far from Elda and will move mid June. We are looking for new contacts too and have a 16 year old daughter interested in riding and meeting new friends. What ages are your children/teens? We are very excited about our permanent move and absolutely love the area and the helpful people we have met.

Looking forward to meeting up soon as we move.

Thank you for you email, we will be going out to Elda the end of June, there will be myself and partner Toni and my one daughter who is 26 but my other daughter who is 21 will be staying in the uk because she is at university in Wales. It would be great to meet up with your family when we come out .

We have taken over the utilities from the previous owners - I’m on a brief visit to England so will let you know when I go back to ELDA. We are with a brilliant supplier for internet but once again the companies name escapes me !! Contact on my return.

Elda is a great area we have had a holiday home there for two years and it is great. My only advice is learn Spanish and do not be afraid to use it. Any questions please ask.

If you need any advice just ask I know the area pretty well now, you are just missing out on the festival at the beginning of June. The Christians and morrows. Worth reading about and it’s is spectacular. 

Hi, am just looking at Elda property at the moment, I like the sounds of the place. This is a very handy forum. I am curious is there a municipal swimming pool in Elda. I have pidgeon Spanish, going to have to improve on that. Are there many ex pats in the locality. Is it a nice place to come and go during winter. Is it far from the Airport.
