Expats in Gran Alucant

Good morning.🌟we are moving to Spain and are interested in Gran Alucant and Santa Pola. Are there lots of Expats in either area. We are in our 70s and would like to make friends .

But be aware that Gran Alacant comes under the jurisdiction of Santa Pola.

Loads of expats in GA. Santa Pola itself is mainly Spanish. Â GA has a few groups to join as well particularly for the ladies

There’s a nice charity shop in GA, always looking for volunteers (SATS) and there’s lawn bowling which I haven’t tried.  Unfortunately I live quite a long way from there otherwise I’d definitely like to meet up.  Good luck with your move.Â

Hi Kath.
There is plenty of expats in GA and lots of activities ranging from waking football, bowls club, quizzes, live bands and singers, coffee mornings, slimming clubs (but more for socialising) book club, bus trips, Sunday afternoon in Mass Square. Look at the GA advertiser which is out 1st of each month and available online. There is easy and reliable transport into Alicante and Santa Pola.  I'm sure you will not be bored its a lovely area.Â
