Hi.
I hv read a letter on the Costa News that a law came into force in April which forbis banks to raise charges to basic bank accounts. Banco Sabadell is the culprit but I wonder if the other banks also do not observe these new regulations.
I pay 8 euro a month to Santander for a 123 account that does not even provide me with a cheque book.

You need to be aware that the €3 pm cap is only on 'basic' bank accounts, and the restrictions on these accounts render them unsuitable for many people:

Can I ask what is defined as a basic account? I have just opened a Sabadell Account which seems to be pricey. I have just been charged 22 euros but I’m not sure exactly what for. Den
