Hallo

Be nice if this was in English so we could all understand. After all it is an English forum for people in Spain!

While I  can understand German ok(ish) it took me all of 5 seconds to copy and paste into DeepL and translate:

Hello

I am a pensioner and I am looking for nice people to talk to.

Which meeting places are there in Guademar del segura. I don't know anyone in this area yet, as I am here for the next 5 months, it would be nice to get to know people to exchange ideas.

-------

While the forum may be in English as default, web browsers nowadays can translate stuff pretty much on the fly as well so it's not too difficult. The last thing the forum should be is an exclusive required English speaking exclave
DeepL is  a better version of Google Translate in my opinion:

DeepL Translate: The world's most accurate translator

What is the point?  I can’t remember anything that said this is exclusively an English language forum.  Perhaps the forum should be exclusively in Spanish, after all we are in Spain .

Title: "Costa Blanca" [forum]? Is Spanish?

stem of Latin forensis "of a [forum], a place of assembly,"

I didn't realise it had to be exclusively in English.   I've seen posts in Spanish here before.  I think it's a bit mean to exclude this lady just because she's writing in German.  She's obviously a bit lonely and is reaching out to people for help, just like you or I might do.

Can't you just use an electronic translator to find out what she's saying?  It's not hard.  I do hope your comments haven't made her feel unwanted.

Hello

As you say ,  as this lady is lonely and hoping to meet people and has no common language , then I suggest that she uses the electronic translator that you recommend.

That way, everyone  here can read her message and that will encourage some helpful, friendly replies.

Cheers
