He does answer e mails [occasionally] He even bought his partner/wife and his child, he comes across as very reliable and such a nice guy - WE WERE VERY WRONG.

If Stephen Read thinks any potential future customers of his should not be put off by this ' Name and Shame' article then he only has to come on to this Forum to make his point.

If No show from him then it cant be said he hasn't had chance to rescue his damaged reputation

When he come here to collect monies, he said you can pay into my English account that way we avoid IVA? But we paid him cash.

I have just got all my paperwork out and notice on his letterhead Quotation he trades under SREAD installations and his e mail contact it is [email protected]. It clearly shows an amount around 20% IVA however he list no address and no registration number.in accordance with his terms listed he requests materials and expenses up front before work is commenced? outstanding monies 7 days following installation [Which we now know we WONT get the goods]  WE HAVE BEEN TOLD HE UNDERQUOTES TO GET THE JOB SO HE TAKES THE MONEY AND RUNS.

He has taken our neighbour also, however he has gone back to the UK not knowing his gates have not been installed either.

LETS HOPE THE AUTHORITIES READ THIS POST AND WE WILL MAKE OUR PAPERWORK and INFO AVAILABLE -  Meaning not paying the Spanish tax!!!!  is highly illegal in Spain and if caught there are huge consequences! House on embargo!!! Everything frozen!!! 

We added this info in order to stop others being conned by a con man! On his latest e mail yesterday he is in London so lets hope customs dont allow him back into Spain on 24th.

We do have more info only available to the authorities.

Hi I'm trevs partner tina I do hope this man and his partner are stopped .he came across so genuine are not often fooled but boy did he fool us. So sorry others have been taken in we were told in October he was in London  by his partner Caitlyn so a little pattern going on there we no we wont get our money back but if we can stop others getting ripped of that's better than nothing.
