Hi Barry,

unfortunately not as 14 days need to pass after last jab.

Hopefully things will change.

I'd highly recommend that members scroll to the bottom of the Mail's article and follow the link to the source material in The Times, where I would draw attention to:

"A growing number of countries had been tightening their rules to permit entry only to fully vaccinated or immune arrivals over the age of 12, leaving many families unable to enter popular holiday destinations, including Spain."

It's also worth noting that EU countries are not obliged to comply with the EU's recommendation.  As of today's date, Spain still does not accept Covid recovery certificates or antigen/PCR tests for entry to its territories, but I'm sure this thread will be updated if they change their entry requirements.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim,

I came across the BOE below whilst looking at the upcoming changes to entry into Spain from February 1st. The BOE states:

-----------------

"Fifth. Risk and high risk countries; entry requirements. Certifications.

Passengers from countries or areas at risk, considered as such based on the assessment of their epidemiological situation at all times, will be required to certify any of the following health requirements:

a) Certificate confirming that the holder has received a vaccine against COVID-19 (vaccination certificate).

b) Certificate indicating the result of a COVID-19 Active Infection Diagnostic Test performed by the holder (diagnostic certificate).

c) Certificate confirming that the holder has recovered from COVID-19 (recovery certificate).

Passengers coming from high-risk countries or areas, understanding as such those in which a significant worsening of their epidemiological situation has been detected or in which variants of special concern have been detected, will simultaneously require a certificate of vaccination or of recovery and a diagnostic certificate.

---------------

I assume the UK is classed as a high risk county at present. It reads to me that entry will be allowed for anyone who  who presents a valid recovery certificate.  Or perhaps I am misunderstanding something?

Aitch.

Hi:

I can bet that in 30th May UK will not be considered a country or high risk, in all Europe the Covid will be so much smaller than now. I think after Easter rules will change all arround Europe so tourist people can travel easier. It is just my opinion

Regards.
