Hello lovely people, hope all is well. Please see photo. We are moving to a beautiful villa in Guardamar del Segura in September. I love everything about it...... except for the kitchen! I can’t afford to replace the whole kitchen at the moment and as the cabinets are wood I would like to spray the doors but want it doing professionally so they don’t look a mess and are resilient. Does anyone know where I can get this done please? Or open to suggestions. Thank you.

Hi,

I know Rapid Repairs in San Fulgencio do this.

If you Google their name you should find all the info you need:)

Have you considered painting the kitchen yourself? Don't know if you've heard of Frenchic paint. There's a Frenchic FB group with amazing makeovers and the paint can be bought fairly locally to Guardamar. Before I'd heard of Frenchic we purchased paint from the paint shop at the big roundabout as you leave the N332 for Guardamar and transformed our kitchen units. Good luck in whatever you decide.

I’ve been in touch with the company and yes you are right they do spray kitchen cupboards. They are SO helpful. Great communication and very very quick at replying. They were brilliant even emailed me some photos of before and after kitchens. As I won’t be able to replace the whole kitchen for a few years yet this is definitely the best option. It’s a really good quality wood kitchen so I am going to upgrade it and replace floor and wall tiles. I can’t thank you enough for passing the company name on to me!

Hello and thank you for your reply. I would be nervous about doing it ourselves as I want it to look professional. Saying that your kitchen looks fab! Did you spray the cabinets? If so how and was it easy? Would welcome any tips/advice as we’re on a very tight budget for the next 2 years!

We did it ourselves over a very wet Easter a couple of years ago. Used brushes and a roller. It was very easy to do and we took our time removing all the doors. I would definitely check out the Frenchic FB page it's amazing and will give you the confidence to do it yourself. Plus it saved us an absolute fortune.

Definitely think about using Frenchic it’s so easy to use and you can repaint your kitchen for less than 100€  For that price you’ll get the sugar soap to clean, a sanding block, a branded Frenchic brush and a couple of large tins of paint.

There’s a local stockist in Los Montesinos called The Little Painter she’s so helpful and will explain exactly what to do.

We have completely re vamped our house since discovering Frenchic it’s so easy to use and you can paint almost everything with it.

Glad you're a fan Graham. Unfortunately when we did our kitchen in Guardamar we didn't know about Frenchic but nevertheless we were pleased with the results. Since discovering it I've painted my Stag bedroom furniture here in the UK and been thrilled with the result. And very little goes such a long way.
