Hi Tom,

Though we don't live in an urbanisation in Guardamar, it is a lovely and friendly place to live and play (making friends).

There are regular bus services within, in and out of Guardamar but the frequency decreases when demands fall over the cooler months.

Guardamar can be rather windy at times but as the weather here is warm, the wind/breeze makes a welcoming change,

Enjoy your new adventure

Welcome and good luck.

Thanks Phyllis,

Can't wait to get the keys. The first thing I need to do is add ceiling fans, 2 in living room and 1 in each of the 2 bedrooms. Is there anywhere in guardamar that I can buy them and have them fitted? I found the below link which get a good write up but I think it is in la zenia

Leroy Merlin (in La Zenia boulevard - a shopping complex) is equivalent to B&Q, Homebase etc in the UK

You can buy ceiling fans in MediaMark (same venue) also however, I'd rather support the ideology of keeping it local hence buy most of our household stuff from Guardamar (also easier to report a fault/problem).

Have a chat to the local ferreteria (hardware shops) and I am sure they will be able to help you. If not Red Deer (I think) or Jamie will be able to supply you with anything electrical.

Happy hunting

Phyllis
