We have a holiday home on La Montanosa half way between Nieves and Failies. It’s a beautiful area, but quiet. The coast is 40 minutes away, with the city of Elche 25 minutes away. The lovely Spanish town of Aspe is 20 minutes away. The fantastic city of Alicante is 40 minutes away. We find the locals friendly and there is a sizeable ex pat community!
