Area advice.

Hi,
Can anyone give me advice about the area of Hondon de los Frailes. Especially information regarding the flooding during the gota fria. I know this can occur anywhere but hey ho.
I currently live in Pinar de Campoverde which is a lovely picturesque area, is the area around the town and area also picturesque.
