Can anyone recommend a good, preferably English speaking, company to look at my pool filtration system. Despite back washing the pressure shoots up and is in "yellow" within an hour. Plus one of the filter pipes leaks - no amount of tightening or sealant stops it (could be related to the pressure problem). Thanks

How long since you changed the sand_  could be clogged.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Sand was changed to glass a couple of months ago. System has also been backwashed but pressure still high.

I once had a Spanish neighbour with the same problem and I discovered that the waste pipe had been reduced to a half inch hose down the line....  have you checked the outlet?

Hi Richard - thanks again for replying.  The waste pipe seems fine and the flow back to the pool when using Circulation also looks good - so those pipe don't seem to have a problem.  There is a reduced flow when using the filtration unit which is accompanied by the increased pressure reading.  This is the part of the system I need checking (and also includes the pipe that has the unsealable leak!).
